FDA and Hearse Driver course

This two-day course is ideal for both those in the funeral industry with employers wanting to upskill new recruits and those looking to become part of the profession.

We’ll cover work health and safety, grief and loss along with the handling of coffins, funeral and hearse equipment. With a focus on practical learning, you can also expect to take part in simulated funerals.

This course will give you a thorough understanding of the day in the life of a funeral director through situational learning.

Date: Friday 17th and Saturday 18th February

Time: Two-Day Course

Where: IFISS , Clifton Hill

Cost – $1800 plus gst

  • Learn about PPE, infection control, work health and safety, grief and loss. 
  • Learn coffin movement, funeral and hearse equipment. 
  • Take part in simulated funerals in the field, with coach &  hearse driving protocols.

Introduction to the funeral industry 

Perfect for those considering a career change and employers hoping to instill a good mindset for new recruits, this full-day introductory course is an excellent way to enhance your knowledge of this industry.

Throughout the session participants not only explore the industry, they’ll also dive into specific roles within it including business, sales, marketing and PR.

With some practical elements included, this thorough course help participants establish a good understanding of the mindset required to work in the industry, along with the expectations and requirements for various industry roles.
