Salary Package: $60,000 – $70,000
Working Hours: 7:00 – 7:30 AM – 3:30-4.30 PM
Our client is currently seeking an exceptional Administration professional to join a team in the funeral care industry. This is a key supporting role that requires a dynamic and resilient individual who thrives in an ever-changing environment.
Job Description:
As a Funeral/Death Care Administrator Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing a warm and supportive presence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting clients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
- Managing phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication.
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating with funeral directors.
- Assisting clients with necessary paperwork and documentation.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Preparing invoices and handling financial transactions.
- Supporting the planning and organization of funeral services.
- Ensuring the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Providing general administrative support to the team as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a funeral home, cemetery or similar setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathetic and compassionate demeanour.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
